What we do
Buildings, not listings
Most resources in the Toronto loft market focus on listings. Current inventory, price per square foot, days on market, open house schedules. That information is useful, but it's available from dozens of sources. What isn't available from most sources is a clear, organised view of the buildings themselves.
Toronto has approximately 60 genuine hard loft conversion buildings. Each one has a distinct history, a distinct construction, a distinct heritage status, and a distinct track record as a managed property. Two units at comparable prices in comparable locations can represent very different investments depending on the building's reserve fund health, maintenance history, and condo board performance.
FindLofts.ca was built to fill that gap. The building database catalogues every major loft conversion in the city with the information that helps you evaluate a building as a building: original use, year converted, unit count, character, neighbourhood, and relevant heritage status. That's the starting point for a search that ends with you knowing exactly which building you want before a unit in it comes to market.
The site is free to use and has no listings of its own. When you're ready to see what's actually available, we send you to TorontoProperty.ca for MLS listings or to LoftsLofts.com for loft-specific inventory. Our job ends at the building decision. Your agent's job starts there.
